21 juillet 1942: Kim Fowley

Personnage excessif et incontournable du rock underground nord-américain depuis la fin des années 1950, Kim Fowley, auteur-compositeur-interprète (chanteur), découvreur de talents (Stooges, Modern Lovers), producteur-pygmalion de groupes à succès (The Runaways, certainement son plus beau coup), de rock gras (Kiss, Slade) ou d'une pléthore d'obscurs garage-bands, surnommé également le « Dorian Gray du rock'n'roll », il a tenu la main aux Flamin' Groovies pour écrire Teenage Head et Sonic Youth a repris son Bubblegum.

On ne compte plus les projets auxquels il a participé d'une manière ou d'une autre en plus de quarante ans de carrière.
